ikr ... on Recovery Em was trying to make 'tounge in cheek' and accessible music, that's because he realized Relapse was too horrorcore for casual listeners or even his average fans. [and yes he succeeded big time]

I always grin at the 'Ketch-up and Mustard' line ... he even says: excuse the corny metaphor.... and placed it for the sake of fun insad & serious song about his best friend

tl;dr: Em knows those lines aren't dope & clever
