Eminem Eminem on Metacritic

    MMLP - 78 (not enough)
    TES - 75 (not enough)
    Encore - 64 (a bit generous)
    Re-up - 50 (about right)
    Relapse - 59 (about right)
    Recovery - 63 (not enough)
    HTS - 72 (very generous)
    MMLP2 - 72 (about right)
    Shady XV - 61 (a bit generous)

    I disagree with most of these scores and I don't see how HTS is only 3 points behind TES

    This is how I would rate these

    MMLP 80 - 85
    TES 85 - 90
    Encore 50 - 55
    Re-up 45 - 50
    Relapse 55 - 60
    Recovery 70 - 75
    HTS 45 - 50
    MMLP2 70 - 75
    Shady XV 45 - 50

    What do you think of the current metacritic scores and how would you rate them?

    The movie scores on there are as bad as Rotten Tomatoes

    IMDB is more accurate imo

    I don't know, I kind of agree with it. They don't bash recovery and mmlp2 like some do

    Mine would be

    MMLP 85
    TES 83
    Encore 50
    Re-up 48
    Relapse 48
    Recovery 63
    HTS 30
    MMLP2 65
    Shady XV 50 (points for Fine Line, GoF)

    @Renovator I always watch Meta, RT and imdb, they are so different sometimes. But it's different for every movie which I agree with

    True, but there's critics and audience. I don't care about critics so much because they judge movies different from the audience (who just rate it how much they liked it). In some cases I agree with critic score more tho. @abdu99 that's fair, why?

    True, but also full of horrible lyrics and a stupid accent. The fact that the beats are so dope even make it worse.. imagine if they were used right (except for maybe 4/5 good songs). If it wasn't for his flow and amazing beats I wouldn't rate it that high. And hts is just bad in almost every aspect imo

    @Narsh I sometimes see people adress meta/RT etc as one person while it's just the average score of many people, unlike pitchfork.
    The meta score of tpab is mostly from the initial hype I guess, you were super excited as well at first. Don't think they all think its the best album ever lol (I hope)

    Doesn't metacritic just average out the scores of critics...? They don't grade anything themselves
