Jan 18, 2018 Eminem has been known to have made the soundtrack for Youtube Reds upcoming battle rap movie "Bodied" coming this year. View a trailer below: The set-up of Bodied, a new movie about the a skinny white battle rapper, is reminiscent of Eminem's 8 Mile. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Eminem is a producer on the movie, which comes from director Joseph Kahn. It opens later this year and recently impressed criticsat 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Kahn said that he expects the movie's soundtrack to feature new music from both Em and Dr. Dre. “By the time it’s bought and ready for distribution, Eminem will contribute a number of songs to the soundtrack," the director said. "They [Em and longtime manager Paul Rosenburg] have enlisted Dr. Dre for a couple of songs.” This comes off the back of a recent quote from the Defiant Ones director, Allan Hughes in which he explained that "Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album." Jan 18, 2018 I do think there's truth to the idea that he knew this OST would be coming out shortly after Revival, and he knew full well it would cater nicely to fans of his more hardcore, hip-hop oriented music, done over good beats. This is going to be fire.

Jan 18, 2018 Hope it's very different. Nothing like GOF. I'd even prefer Need Me type of formula forthe song but I just don't wanna hear 3 verses with just hooks sung by some pop artist. I can see this one having more of a rap features. Imagine all those stupid fake 2nd cd tracklist guests would appear on tht s---. I never thought that would fit to an Eminem album unless it's double but for a movie with a rap story, it makes sense and seems possible.

Jan 18, 2018 This caters to a VERY specific audience. I doubt they'd go out of their way to produce songs with mainstream appeal to promote it. Then again, I doubt a separate soundtrack will happen at all despite what's been said.
