Oct 18, 2016 http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/first-w...992-and-gucci-mane-s-woptober-news.24817.html As of now, The Game’s "1992" album is expected to outsell Gucci Mane’s “Woptober” by a few thousand. We’re only days removed from the release of Game’s 1992 album & Gucci Mane’s Woptober project, but the first week sales projections are already in and they’re definitely lower than what these two veterans are probably used to. According to HDD, The Game’s 1992 album is projected to move anywhere from 21-24k in pure sales, with 24-27k expected with streams. Meanwhile Gucci Mane is only projected to move 17K-20K albums and that’s with streams only because as you know the album wasn’t put out for sale. In comparison though, last year’s Documentary 2.5 from The Game moved 48K units with streams, nearly doubling his new album 1992. So it appears the on-going beef with Meek Mill didn’t drive sales & hype up for The Game’s album like some people thought, but it did beat out Meek’s 15K prediction he made on his remix to "OOOUUU." If you want to help grow these numbers you can do so by copping 1992 here and Woptober here. Which album did you like better?
Oct 18, 2016 He shoulda retired after Doc 2.5, it felt like such a grand end to a great career, 1992 doesn't hold a candle to any of it
Oct 21, 2016 1992 is good to me honestly, just lacks compared to the extravaganza that Doc 2 & 2.5 was
Oct 21, 2016 Yea I expected those sales to be around that, since Game A) tried so hard to boost it through means of petty beefs, and it didn't have a stellar tracklist, features, and/or hits.
