Last we heard of Freddie Gibbs was when he released his album following his release from prison, You Only Live 2wice. Gibbs later confirmed that he was still working with Madlib on his follow up to his critically acclaimed album, Piñata. The D.R.A.M. jam session comes as a surprise since it seems unlikely the two would ever collaborate but Freddie Gibbs isn't know to shy away from working with all kinds of artists. Oct 14, 2017 I saw a Reddit thread and they were blown away at this pairing. Gibbs is one of the most versatile rappers in hip-hop. I have no doubt this will be a solid project.
