When Eminem was doing all the hooks on his albums/songs himself. Originally in 1999 and 2000 on his debut album and second album it was him doing rapped hooks then from the 3rd album on wards 2002 - 2009 it was him doing sung hooks with melody even his rapped hooks prior to him doing sung hooks had so much melody

The rest of the genre of hip-hop every other rapper be it Fabolous or Jay-Z or Nas or Kanye West or Jadakiss or Busta Rhymes or T.I or Joe Budden or Ice Cube or Scarface or Snoop Dogg where getting pop singers especially female pop singers to feature and do the hooks on their albums/songs/singles

That was the Blueprint for every rapper besides Eminem who performed 99% of the hooks on his songs himself while the rest of the rappers it was the opposite everybody else simply used that blueprint
