Herbo but have never had a good place to start, where do you recommend? Answer : Herbo has an extremely large discography, I'm probably one of the biggest fans to date and even I've not compiled all of his songs. His earlier songs he was labeled as just Herbo, and a bit later then that he went by the name Lil Herb. Now he's most commonly known by the name G. Herbo. Finding his songs is a real struggle, some of them don't even exist online anymore. However for new fans unless you're into the really heavy Drill s--- you probably won't f--- with his early 2012 and 2013 s--- anyway, so I recommend you take a look straight into his official projects. Mar 10, 2017 I see this as a perfect time to throw one back and pump out some of the classics, below is some of my favorite tracks. Spoiler: youtube videos
Mar 10, 2017 I really like Herbo but I need him to switch up the sound immediately. His writing has been all over the place too. I want that Fazoland hunger back.
Mar 10, 2017 It's one of my favorites also, but I feel like it's not very new listener friendly. A lot of people are kinda moving past the whole 'drill music' movement, so I left it at the bottom of my recommended.
Mar 10, 2017 I don't agree, you have to remember that with a lot of these tracks they're extremely old. Herbo has never been one that was really with the s----s, killing people and s--- so I'm extremely glad that he's moving away from those types of lyrics. I actually enjoy the emotional side of him we've seen since the release of Peace Of Mind. You have to remember the kind of artist he is. I feel like this would ruin him as an artist and I actually would prefer that you don't ever mention that literally ever again. The entire idea behind No Limit was for them to be themselves, why would he switch up his sound now to cater to the media and radio stations?
Mar 10, 2017 I like the new emphasis on his lyrics. I just meant that his writing has been feeling more repetive and lackluster as of lately. He used to be a lot more intricated and willing to step out of his comfort zone with stuff like Momma I'm Sorry, Eastside, 4 Minutes of h--- Pt.2, Peace Of Mind, Computers, Knucklehead, etc. I also didn't meant that I wanted like a new sugar coated radio friendly sound, just an attempt from him to show an interest on growth and distinctiveness.
Mar 11, 2017 So is this like a rerelease of Welcome To Fazoland with bonus songs? Why not label it 2 instead of 1.5?
