    Felt like i was watching some 12 years a slave recap video.
    The only reason why Cole decided to go with this type of video is the sample or should i say the song he sampled. That only makes sense.
    Felt like gomd video should've gone in a whole different direction, but who im i to b---- about the video. Cole doing his thing

    I'm dying at this GOMD music video, Cole's acting is hillarious. This short movie videos gotta stop, record some normal s--- that fits the mood of the song and move on to the next. This is forced as it can be.

    Just before anyone asks how does this video corresponds with the song, I thought let me share my understanding.

    The song is placed at the point where Cole enters Hollywood and has seemingly made it. That's why he is seen as a house ni**a. He is higher than those on the fields (rappers still struggling) but is still under the control of the white folks (the evils of the industry). At this point in the album we see Cole doubting whether he wants to actually be here, and whether all those things that he wanted are real (ties in with No Role Models). This can be seen by Cole deciding to help take a stand against the white folk, atleast those who oppress him.

    Have always been a fan of Coles videos since he's gone in this direction, this could have easily been a typical (and still fire) club video. But doing these kind of vids give the songs a new dimension.

    Yo, Cole being a "House n----" is f---ing hilarious and it actually correlates with the song quite well.

    Agreed. this s--- comes off as corny to me. if he wants to do this s--- put out a short film or something separate from the music videos. mood does not fit at all, makes the filming not enjoyable and does nothing for the song,

    Word. This s--- should be filmed in a club with half naked girls and everyone having a good time and s---. It won't make him less realer if he makes something like that cause it fits the mood of the song perfectly.
