You should try to convince them to go. Festivals are more than just live music and s---. It's a good backdrop just for people to hang out and stuff like that.

But if you do have to go solo then you should still go. Good opportunity to meet new friends or acquaintances.

Its hard to find people with similar taste in music. Most people are more into EDM than hip hop or r&b in my area

it would depend on the rest of the lineup

but id look at it like this: if you go really there's a 0% chance of regretting it you'll always have the memory of seeing the artists you wanna see esp frank plus youll probably meet a bunch of new people with similar interests
if you dont go you'll most likely regret it cause whats the worst that could happen

I personally wouldn't like that but if you're out going and can meet new people like the others said why not.
