Aug 31, 2017 No I am literally not, you're literally using literally incorrectly. It's a pretty generic track, that doesn't mean its bad but its not really memorable.
Aug 31, 2017 I fail to see how I was using the word Literally incorrectly, Please enlighten me. https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/misuse-of-literally The usage of the word has been changed since early 2016, because you're stuck with your hand in a honey jar isn't my problem lad. Secondly, I care no f---s about your opinion towards the track. I personally think he's quite average myself, but he lacks the traits that other users on this forum have found quality driven previously. He reminds me of J. Cole in his early stages, after listening to his last project I really feel he has some influences from dudes like Cole, and maybe even Joey. Not forcing him down your throat, I discover hundreds if not thousands of artist each week, and a large portion of them start to blow up progressively over time. (go back in forum and look at the first people to listen to Yo Trane, Lud Foe, Famous Dex, the list goes on) TLDR It was me, and all of these dudes are signed to major names now doing decent numbers. All I'm saying it keep an eye out for him, I have high hopes for him with the past couple tracks he's put out, he has that natural Brooklyn sound that people go f--- all crazy over.
Aug 31, 2017 You posted an article not the definition, you're still literally wrong. I'm still confused why you posted him, what do others think he lacks.
Aug 31, 2017 My personal opinion of him is that he lacks word play, when you have someone from New York they're always so heavy on being the best of both worlds that really STREET HEAVY flow mixed with those STREET INFLUENCED lyrics. Take some of my personal favorites coming out of New York with the modern times. Kirk Knight, Dave East, Bodega Bamz, Joey Badass They all really show case the best of both worlds. Especially Kirk Knight and Dave East.
Aug 31, 2017 I ain't really f---ing with the song style reminds me a lot of logic but yeah I agree, not many memorable bars either and the only one- doesn't even make sense
Aug 31, 2017 It's a reference to the East Coast, West Coast beef. 187 is the Crime of Murder between g--- members in California
Aug 31, 2017 He used it as a reference for this, I believe it was used in some case against a rapper who was killed by a b-----r from California from Brooklyn a few years back. (I'm not completely sure) I have talked to him about the meaning behind this entire track. Also talked to him about his entire album, he has some creative word play I guess, but I'm not sure.
