    It's a departure from his first two cuz it's a tight 12 songs/30 min rather than being super sprawling/a million songs long but it's a nice change of pace.

    Yo just check out Madlib's whole discography tbh; Shades Of Blue has some of my favorite beats ever and they are really hard to find but any excerpt from the Medicine Show series (there are a ton of them) are goat.

    Yesterday's New Quintet is a pretty good Madlib side-project as well. Full blown jazz though so not sure if it's everyone's cup of tea.
