    I'm writing something that's gonna require a bit of research...does anyone know a good place where I can view pre-internet (or early internet) newspaper/magazine/etc. hip-hop related articles? Honestly anything pre-2005 would be helpful as most websites only go back to the mid 2000s or so. Even wayback machine screens of early rap websites would work. They can be regionally specific or broad, doesn't matter.

    Most places I've found that look promising are colleges that require me to be alumni or have someone who works/went there "sponsor me" for an account.

    Didn’t Kemp just open up your state? Library might have what you are looking for. Other than that, this might be grueling but you could search boxden forums for posts that link to old articles ‍♂️ I don’t remember the link but those hip hop discussions archived by Google from the late 90s might have some links to articles (who knows if the links work though)

    I'd love to go to the library but I'm not changing my habits right now just because Kemp says so. I'm gonna continue to the follow the lead of states that are having appropriate responses lol

    I was thinking about those archived discussions from the 90s too

    Smart thinking, I was being somewhat facetious. A lot of libraries now do have digital archives, you may want to call and ask about that.
