I dont even know what genre!

    I had a spur of the moment lemme sample something from my ipod kinda morning and came up with this over the weekend, lemme know what you guys think. Some C&C would be doope! :) Gonna be dropping some bars over this one as well but I felt like putting the beat out to test the sound out!

    If you're not familiar with the rest of my produced joints, peep em here theyre in order from newest (workwork) to my first beat 2mileshigh which i did at the start of this year.

    Do you think the verse bars are too different to the rest of it, or i guess the chorus? I feel like if i can fix the transition between the two it'll sound better, or do you think they're too stylistically different to fit on the one track?

    your thoughts are greatly valued! :)

    Ahah didn't even know feedback had a tag like that! now i do!

    Yeah no vocals on it for now just made the beat and thought id put it up to see what people thought, when i say the chorus i refer to the section that starts at 0:10ish and the verse section is the part at 0:50ish.

    The WorkWork melody sounds really cool and chill, but it feels like the bass pushes through the other components of the beat in an unpleasant way and kind of messes up the chill mood of the beat

    Interesting but fair enough, so you saying you think that the bassline was too active and energetic for the melody? I actually pushed for that cause I found the bassline was too dead and washy before that!
