Given the combination my time constraints and the rate at which new music is released these days, I find myself listening to a lot of music and then forgetting about it a few weeks later. So I started writing little 2-3 tweet-sized reviews of each of the projects I had listened to and figured I'd put them up online.

I'm still getting the hang of this and have no idea if i actually will keep this up but check it out if you're interested. Hopefully will be posting April and May editions soon. And might dig back and post some old reviews I did last year, if I can find them.

If anyone has any advice or recommendations on how I can improve this i'm all ears!

Update: broke it down into different posts for each month:

    January
    February
    March
    April

Love the idea since I don't find time to listen everything. Your blog allow me to catch back those releases I missed.

Add covers of albums you are reviewing and a little introduction to the artist so we can know if we can like the project.

Great idea Savvy Sav! I've always wanted to do s--- like this. Like posting track by track reviews of albums, both on hip hop and non hip hop albums alike. Guess my clout chasing a--- will use Medium too. I might do a little OT s--- on there too because just talking about album reviews can be a little dry over time.

thanks for the feedback man! took your advice and added cover art, looks much better now. The idea is to keep the reviews as brief as possible but its probably a good idea to give a little intro to newer artists people might not be familiar with, shot for pointing that out.

@Sav Stanfield I absolutely love your admiration of hip-hop and class your opinion in very high regard so I will show my support and check this out.
@FrenchKick has offered the best feedback so far though imo, a little blurb on the artist in question, especially their style. I have missed out on countless artists because I didn't even know they would be music I like (YG is a prime example of this for me. I was about 3 years late to the party).
So yeah, putting in a sub category would be hugely beneficial for others benefit (not yours I guess though!).

IIRC @WPG did brief reviews on one of the websites he was writing for and they would always pique my interest in the particular album that he plugged.

Gonna bookmark your sites @Sav Stanfield and @WheresTheMeat! Keep up the good work fellas!
