Dec 14, 2017 The f--- is going on with Marshall, he knew he couldn’t make any more songs so decided to poach songs that are old af just to “please the fans” Does he even had passion anymore? Even so the two songs are so irrelevant to 2017 eminem and don’t really make sense There is a CLEAR cut in arose when he revisits castle. Why is he talking about his overdose after gtc and dejavu
Dec 14, 2017 They are 100 percent old. He says the dates in the songs. No one can convince me otherwise.
Dec 14, 2017 I think he probably liked the idea of the two songs for a while. I read this somewhere else: Castle and Arose are connected concept songs. Castle is him reading letters to Hailie at different times of his life, 1995, 1996, and 2007 and ends with him overdosing then Arose is him being in the hospital describing what he’s seeing and feeling during that, then at the end it goes back to the last verse of Castle as if he’s rewinding time and instead of taking the pills he flushes them
Dec 14, 2017 I don't think they're old songs. I really believe he can sound like that with the proper vocals and layering
Dec 14, 2017 they're not old songs, the dates are letters to hayley. god you people are braindead sometimes he needs to quit experimenting with new flows/rockrap/rick rubin and do what he knows he's good at for a final album
Dec 14, 2017 This He's done it before. h---, he sounded like his recovery self on the last verse of remind me. And if tragic endings is new, he pulled if off there too Arose is 100% new, you can tell by how he's rapping. But the layers make it sound like old em. It's crazy how some extra vocals can make it that much better
Dec 14, 2017 I don't know how, or why, anyone would care if they were old. They're great. f---, give us an album full of old songs and it'll probably be a classic.
