since it seems more and more artists have low first week sales, I wanted to ask you, do you spend more or less money on music nowadays since we are in the digital era?

Sup Kahl, I went from having a CD collection to using Spotify and only buying Em's CDs. I think that answers your question :mynig2:

That's why Shady is all about merch, most people won't pay for music these days, but we all wear clothes, nah mean?:useyourhead:

Hi, Linda, Paul again. I'm getting more frustrated as each day passes as you refuse to work with Shady Records. Marshall is thinking about dissing you in his next record. Tread carefully, Linda. This is a sticky path you will regret going down. He may even sue since you used his name is one of your underground songs titled "I want to f--- Eminem"

Hope to hear from you soon, Paul.

I have an Apple Music subscription that costs about the price of one CD during the CD buying era. I’m spending way less money on music. And because it’s digital, it’s not a physical, tangible thing, I don’t care for the music as much. The ritual of buying albums and listening to them for the first time while reading the liner notes was such a huge part of the experience. Now, I’ll “add” an album to my account and forget about it almost immediately.

if The Weeknd comes out with a new project, I always buy the physical media. And I have the 10 year mixtape anniversary vinyls. I did buy Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V in 2018. but outside of that, it's just YouTube or Spotify/Apple music

I haven’t bought music in like a decade. But if you mean like streaming subscriptions, I don’t even really count that since all music is basically available now

I just use Spotify. I do miss the anticipation, excitement of going to a store to buy a new album you’ve been hyped about for months before music leaked as much. Just the nostalgia effect probably.
