Feb 26, 2024 I have an Apple Music subscription that costs about the price of one CD during the CD buying era. I’m spending way less money on music. And because it’s digital, it’s not a physical, tangible thing, I don’t care for the music as much. The ritual of buying albums and listening to them for the first time while reading the liner notes was such a huge part of the experience. Now, I’ll “add” an album to my account and forget about it almost immediately.
