I just dropped mine on my way home today while riding my bike. Flew out of my hand onto the sidewalk while I was trying to change a song and didn't skip a beat. This is like, the 2nd time in recent memory of me dropping it like that and it just keeps on going.

I've thrown/dropped it by accident onto hard surfaces/floors 40+ times since I got it 3 years ago and it's never given me a single problem. Idk what they make these out of but it must be titanium.

anyone ever considering getting an ipod of some kind or an MP3 and want one with a f--- ton of storage space that won't take a s--- on you in a month, get one of these if you can find them online somewhere.

I love mine, its a silver 160GB one.....they don't make em like that anymore, it drives me nuts. I don't need another screen to play games on or surf wifi, that needs a $60 rubber jacket to protect it from falls. and the storage space is heinous... 32GB? they're like iPhones that cant make a call

what some genius company needs to make is separate piece of hardware that acts as the screen (with an included menu program) for external hard drives. So you clip this little screen on to the USB port of your 2TB drive and you can access your library through it... surely its possible

The DAC was what made Classics so good though, they have great quality depending on which generation you have.

get an iFlash adapter. It basically lets you put an sd card in the Classic.

Yeah dude, I love mine. Got that silver 160GB, the day it dies - Is the day I'll never listen to music again..

Mine plugs right into my dashboard and I can navigate through it there.
Gotta love it.

It should be a crime that apple discontinued them. One of the few good things to come out of that company.
