Jun 29, 2019 'Til I collapse I'm spillin' these raps long as you feel 'em 'Til the day that I drop you'll never say that I'm not killin' 'em ‘Cause when I am not, then I'ma stop pennin' 'em
Jun 29, 2019 It’s a shame his prime was so short lived. An even bigger shame I was too young to see Edit: Just listened to Til I Collapse, unbelievable.. Rhyme schemes, lyrics, content, flow, beat, hook. Prime em had everything
Jun 29, 2019 Yeah there's always going to be a lot of personal feelings involved here. I grew up on Em. I have been a fan since My Name Is dropped. So yes, he's easily in my top 5. But I can fully understand why he wouldn't be in today's youths eyes.
Jun 29, 2019 I don’t know if I can answer this without being accused of bias because it’s known that I don’t like Eminem’s music, but no, absolutely not. Credit where it’s due Em was a very talented rapper at his peak and made some undeniable songs, but there are an awful lot of rappers, and a lot of them have significantly higher highs and longer primes. As good as he was, he was hardly Jay/Nas/Wayne/Ghostface/Ice Cube/Q-Tip/Big/Pac/Andre
Jun 29, 2019 Maybe top 15 considering his good 4 year run. Definitely not top 5. His music didn’t age the best with controversial lines aimed at celebrities that aren’t relevant anymore. And he was the first white rapper that was accepted into the rap game by a big name producer Dre. Even in the song Eminem admits if he was black he would have only sold half. He attracted a ton of white fans who got into hip hop because of him. Notice the real slim shady not a single black person in the video. He had a dominate flow back in the day though and some of his disses were some of the best in the rap game imo.
Jun 29, 2019 His prime was great but its not like everything after was s---. Overall it was average after
