This is just a bunch of middle school insults and the worst thing it accuses is of jay using biggie rhymes. What do you nias think?

May 31, 2018 Yes. I mean it’s good but like.... it’s hardly as scathing as people make it out to be. It got that reputation simply because Nas was the underdog & no one expected him to come back like that after Takeover.

May 31, 2018 Ether is really just Nas calling him gay for the most part, he doesn’t really hit Jay with anything of substance until the final verse. It’s not a bad diss, but it’s definitely not as good as Takeover.
May 31, 2018 I dont dislike the song, btw. The beat is a classic, just think it isnt very hard hitting. I think if Jay didnt admit to losing then it wouldnt be as one sided in popular opinion.
