Jun 12, 2017 He makes great songs and has the potential to craft a great album IMO , he doesn't have what it takes to be a top tier MC Everytime I hear him rhyming , he is rapping preachy and corny lyrics His flow is not good tbh , he is struggling all the time on his breath control His technical skill is decent but technical skill alone doesnt make a great MC Every time on collaborations , he usually has the worst verse . For example - Just Begun - Mos , Cole and Talib all had stronger verses Jay-Z washed him on We Made It , Jay Electronicas verse was basic to me compared to Jiggas fantastic verse. While I think Sean isn't top tier either , he had the better verse on Control and regardless of how overhyped K.Dots verse was , it still owned the track and outshone the other verses combined. I'm all for a good debate so if you can change my mind on Jay Electronica , go for it. To me though , he isn't top tier tbh.

Jun 12, 2017 His Just Begun verse is dope. He prob wrote Jay's verse on We Made It lol. Not gonna change your dumbass opinions. Jay Elect is obviously overrated by his cult like following, and he hasn't crafted a good song in years, but his early work was promising. Great writer with a s-----y work ethic.
