    There is a reason for this thread, I'm new to JCole and he's visiting my town soon. Sadly my parents won't let a 17 year old kid attend this concert since his songs don't have a good message. And I was confused since I've heard the exact opposite about him and his reputation.
    What songs can I show them that have the best message, that a parent would like. No, language is not the issue, it's the whole money, sex, drugs stereotype that hip hop has.

    He turned his childhood home into a place where single mothers can live up to 2 years to get whatever situation they have fixed
    He attended a fans graduation
    On a tour....I think Dollar and Dream I or II he bought pizza for fans who waited in the rain....it was Domino's but we all make mistakes (lol I kid....I just personally hate Dominos lol)

    As far as things he's done, you can talk about his grind moving up to NYC on his own, getting his college degree and always promoting that to the youth, his message on working hard, getting your degree, and doing what you're passionate about. Him buying his old house back, him using it for families to rent out cheaply, doing the dollar and a dream tours, shouting out some of his fans (including the cancer victim who said he fought it cuz of Cole), going to fans house to preview albums, going to colleges and high schools to talk directly to the students, etc
