Jean Dujardin is a French actor.
He's the first french ever who won an Oscar and a Golden Globe (plus plenty of other awards) in 2012 for his performance in "The Artist" by Michel Hazanivicus.
He was first known in french for the tv serie "Un gars une fille" then for a few comedies like "Brice de Nice" and "Oss 117 : Rio ne répond plus" (y'all should see that one, it's one of the best comedy ever wrote).
After The Artist, Dujardin had the opportunity to start playing in Hollywood's productions : so he did the movie "Monuments Men" (by George Clooney)


Then "Wolf of wall street" by Martin Scorsese :
(I love that scene so much)

But then he chose to stay in France and keep working with french directors (he said in interview that he love is country to much to leave it), he did a few great performances since then, like "La French" or "Möbius".

I'm curious to see what y'all think about him : do you think he deserved the oscar? Would you like to see him in some american productions again?

(funny fact : he won 14 awards thanks to the artist, but not the "César", which is the french equivalent of oscars, and was won by Omar Sy for the movie "Intouchables")
