Jun 3, 2019 Not sure if there are any Joell Ortiz fans here but he has a new EP coming out June 7th produced by Salaam Remi. It’s called Boxtalk. Although I’m not a huge Remi fan, there’s no denying he has produced some iconic songs in his career, but I love Joell Ortiz so I’m really intrigued by this project. Side note, Joell Ortiz, Fred the Godson, and The Heatmakerz put out a little project back in January called Gorilla Glue. If you like this type of rap then I highly suggest checking it out. Jun 4, 2019 Yea absolutely. At first I didn’t love Mona Lisa. I came back to it months after release and it got better with each spin. I like that gorilla glue album more than Mona Lisa, but to be fair, they’re 2 completely different projects. It’s not fair to compare them. I’m really excited to see what Ortiz and Nas’s producer can do together. Ortiz is on a nice little run right now.
