    kanye isn't from chicago, but we all know he reps chi-town and grew up there. common is from chicago. they've worked together. both have been doing this for a long time. i think both are two of the greatest ever.

    so what do you say? common or kanye?

    voted kanye cause even if i cared about who was the better rapper, only one of them has ever made something as pleasing to listen to as 808s, Yeezus or MBDTF.

    I like Kanye a lot more, he has a lot of gems that are replay-able for days, Common is a nice artist, spits real music, like Testify is a pretty good track.

    WHAT! Of course Common. And Common was doing this since the beginning of 90s. Common's first album dropped in 1992, Kanye came more than a decade after him. Also, Common is a lot better lyricist and a rapper than Kanye ever will be. Kanye is not a good rapper at all. A good artist yeah but not rapper.

    I think resurrection and like water for chocolate and one day it’ll all make sense are all better than be. those 3 albums were a great run

    Be is good too, it was the album that brought him more into the mainstream/made him more well known
