Dec 9, 2020 Eminem and Joe Budden haven’t had the healthiest relationship over the years with various shots going back-and-forth between them. Despite their history, former Slaughterhouse member KXNG Crooked is hopeful the two artists can talk things out and bury their Shady Records beef once and for all. During a recent interview on Smoothvega’s Nothing Beats Experience podcast, Crooked talked about the possibility of Budden making music again and why he wants him to reunite with Slim Shady. “I think Joe is gonna get in the booth,” he said. “There are some things that happened and we ain’t gotta talk about old s---. But there’s some things that happened and he said some things. He gotta understand, this is what I always tell him, ‘You have a huge voice in the game, so if you say something, that s---’s gon’ resonate.’ If he says something that I disagree with, as far as like how some s--- went down on Shady Records, and you know you say, ‘Yo, it happened like this’ and I say, ‘Nah, it didn’t quite happen like that,’ you would what I mean? He just got to be careful, his voice is big.” KXNG Crooked continued, “One day I’m hoping that him and Em will be able to sit down. They don’t gotta be friends again, they don’t got to be none of that. Just be men and sit down. Because guess what, they’re two, they cut from the same cloth. They really deep artists, they love their craft. If you listen to an Em stan and a Joe fan, it’s a lot of similarities. And they’re good dudes tryna to do the right thing. I just feel like all that was for no reason. I really wish that they would sit down and it might happen.”
Dec 9, 2020 They just want to save Slaughterhouse, he trashed Em publicly. And dude doesn't even rap anymore anyway.
Dec 9, 2020 It wasn't just trashing. There were some serious disrespect and accusations that were completely bs. Budden was always like one of my least fav members alongside with Ortiz anyway.
Dec 9, 2020 ^This. He wants Slaughterhouse to be able to put out music again but it won't be possible if Em is not on board because of Joe Budden.
Dec 9, 2020 I liked some of his songs, but dude doesn't rap anymore. The only thing that would happen with this is Em letting them go. Which should have happened a long time ago.
Dec 9, 2020 Are they still signed? Slaughter house was 4 members. They can do crooked, Joel & Royce and make another group with a name change.
Dec 10, 2020 Yeah, they still get asked if the album will drop lol. That's why they want Joe and Em to be cool so bad.
Dec 10, 2020 I been slacking big time with that situation... I thought someone put a call in to fif and got him off.
Dec 10, 2020 Budden blames everyone but himself for his failures. It's like he thinks he could have been the best rapper ever if it wasn't for the rest of the world plotting against him. Ridiculous. Always has been that way. He beefed with d--- near everybody. From Hov, to Drake to Em.... and even Spotify, lol. But the worst part of it all is that Eminem called him out a few times and he never responded in a way an artist is supposed to do it. He simply hid behind the "I'm retired" excuse, because he didn't really want to go toe to toe with Eminem on wax. It's easier to control the narrative when you host a 2 hour show, twice a week.
Dec 10, 2020 dumb out was absolutely all my s--- in 2005, i loved that song. it didn't age well but still a personal classic i enjoyed the rap basement budden movement before that site died
