    Lyor wasn't that bad. He gave Thugger some.structure I like these 9 and 8 song projects not only does it cut out some filler but it makes it easier for average listeners to get into him which is the main objective with his debut album coming.....


    As good as crime stoppers was who knows how a whole tape would end up. Not to mention when they wanted to drop it last October Migos were at their lowest popularity wise post Versace, just coming off their flopped debut album. Thug doing a whole tape with a group headed downwards is more likely to hurt than help not to mention every song would be 75% Migos 25% Thug give or take a few points with features



    ITT late quavo stans / people that don't even buy thugs music

    @XxMyChemicalRomancexX is right. And Lyor had a huge point when he said "we know you can make a great song just freestyling for 10 minutes. Imagine what you could do if you spent hours or days on these songs." It's tough because Thug is a HUGE personality but he clearly benefits from some structure and restraint from someone he respects. It doesn't make sense to release MigosThuggin, FettyThuggin, MetroThuggin, DirtySlime, or whatever collab tape as a random one off mixtape with no structure like the slime seasons when these could actually be amazing albums that make money and boost thug's mainstream appeal - they should have capitalized on fetty's popularity tho, but who knows how real that tape even was.

    And yall are trippin if you think Lyor is the only factor keeping these collab tapes from happening. They're not gonna drop just cuz he's gone. Thug's still on 300.

    smh so f---ing dumb this the problem with rap these days projects that are too long full of filler. Jeffery was the best thing thug has put out and it is obviously influenced by Lyor. it is varied, experimental, focused and a good length. this is a good project, not some bloated mixtape full of randomness.
