Pearl Gates, Denez Prigent 24 | Outtakes i thought masta ace had retired. but he just dropped an album recently. i've always liked ace's style since i first heard him years ago. a friend of mine introduced me to masta ace and i've been a fan ever since. he's pretty old now in hip hop years, and rappers def don't get better with age, but i still think this is worth checking out just based on ace's reptuation
Jun 4, 2016 Ace is such a great rapper (one of my favourites) - but his albums tend to draw out. The production on this is so-so, and although Ace is a fantastic rapper he gets very boring on this release. It's a chore to listen to this album from start to finish.
Jun 7, 2016 Agreed. I listen to like four or five songs in a row and then switch to something else. The lyrics and storytelling are still there tho
