    What is your favorite entry in the Metal Gear franchise and why? or do you not like Metal Gear?

    This is my favorite series of all time. As far as a favorite that's so tough. Metal gear solid 1 probably gets the nod just because of the memories I have attached to that game. Fighting psycho mantis the first time, the first time you see the metal gear, the darpa chief etc.

    I've enjoyed every single entry in this franchise. I have yet to play peace walker but I just picked up the he collection for 360 so I'm hoping it'll be backwards compatible or I'll just bust out my 360 again to play it.

    I feel like the story in mgs 1-3 had me the most intrigued. I listened to every codec conversation and watched every cut scene haha.

    As far as gameplay goes I have to say the phantom pain is my favorite. I LOVE playing this game. There are endless ways to complete the objectives. The phantom pain is a masterpiece. While some people didn't like the shift in story telling, I really enjoy the cassette tapes. They're there for you if you want them. Sometimes I'll put them on while I smoke or do something else to get a better understanding of a character or event. It's pretty awesome.

    So to answer your question, I have no f---ing idea which one is my favorite haha

    MGS4 best story. (Most epic conclusion to a story ever!)

    MGSV easily best gameplay.

    i agree with all you guys, one of the GOAT series. I'm trying to convince the girlfriend to play through them all. So many great memories.

    Basically this, but I might give best ending to MGS3 as well. Killing The Boss is the most heartbreaking s--- I've ever had to do in a game

    MGS3 got me into the series and now I'm playing TPP, so ima go with the 3rd one. Real amazing game with great story.
    Loving TPP so far, idk why I didn't buy this game when it just came out.

    I agree with all that's been said, still haven't played ground zeroes, or the phantom pain yet, no time but no doubt I'll bust a nut when I ever will get around to picking em up
