    Why did I never listen to this dude? I must've ran into the wrong songs in the past

    Just randomly came across a few songs on youtube [mathematics, I'm leaving, travelling man etc] and this dude is nice! Anyone recommend his best songs or projects, unreleased or not.

    Mos Def and Talib Kweli are... Blackstar, Black On Both Sides are classic albums. The Ecstatic is also quite good.

    If the rest of his songs are this dope he might be one of my new fave rappers, he's nice as h---, even his hooks are solid.

    Will check them out later man, good looks!

    Mos had(has?) the potential to be one of the greatest rappers of all time. His output is very limited to his skill though imo. Because he prioritises his message over his technique, I don't think he has truly fulfilled his potential as a rapper.

    Love Mos Def. Ecstatic is my favorite album of his. Quiet Dog Bite Hard was my s--- in like 8th grade.
