So when I see this word... I'm always hoping for a fresh new song.

Examples that pop in my head are Power Remix (Kanye feat. Jay) and Chloraseptic (Em x 2 Chainz. New verses by all artist, maybe a beat change or s--- like that.

Sometimes its literally a few bars added from another rapper / artist which hardly makes the song any different and/or better. Which can be cool, I guess, but kinda lazy to me I love it when the OG artist also does something 'new' on it too or at least the song is reshaped somehow.

When I talk about pointless remixes, I mean smt like this



I mean.. lol.. Ariana simply covered JB's 2nd verse and adds nothing. I like the song but its hardly a remix how I look at it.

Other examples of pointless remixes ? And what do you expect from a 'remix' in general?
