    Kurupt. Lyrically he was always better than Dre and Snoop, but never got the fame or recognition they did because he never had any hit songs as a solo artist.

    Brother Ali is one of the most underrated lyricist ever. Easily a Top 5 of all time.

    Idk @Arch Dogg @Zep I feel like Kurupt is widely acknowledged within the "hip hop head" community, whereas Pusha is dismissed by the old heads for s--- like Lunch Money and dismissed by the mainstream cuz he ain't got no bangers, and is in this awkward middle ground of mostly having Kanye stans as fans who don't really appreciate his lyricism because a lot of Ye stans only give a f--- about beats

    I f----- with Brother Ali for a bit, but that was during my backpacker phase so I immediately have unfair personal biases against artists from that phase of my life, BUT

    ScHoolboy Q is excellente man, I swear everyone judges him off his Oxymoron singles lol. Setbacks is one of the greatest west coast albums OAT, definitely at least top 30/20.

    Horrible poll options, most of them are overrated if anything. Voted Kurupt because he is pretty underrated, but far from the most underrated.

    I'd say Pharoahe Monch, Aesop Rock, Phonte, Slug, Talib Kweli are among some of the more underrated lyricists.

    Pusha seems to be getting acknowledgment now. Every time I watch MTV Jams hes in every other video. I swear him and 2 Chainz are on there more than anyone.
