Yes it does, and it's low-iq,

if you listen to it 24/7 and consider it actual music you are brain-dead ... if u bump it in the whip and parties only, I can respect that

wtf is this s---... ewww :scust:

Change the word "s---" to "exist" and you might be on to something

I would say he's a good mumbler...as much I troll his fans, atleast he seems smart and never made me cringe.

but the new era mumblers can't do a proper interview

i've not gotten anywhere near as into him as most of the people here, but i quite enjoy Honest and his new album (though not as much as Honest)

i just have a hard time getting down with the trap style production. most of it just comes off really lazy/generic/uninspired/repetitive/overly minimal, and that kind of ruins a lot of what i probably could get into if the production were simply different/improved imo or the rapping was more interesting sonically or faster paced at times.

and so i guess when i've complained about the mumbling or whatever, it's not that i can't get into that vocal style, it's just that generally it bores me when the production is already so uninteresting to me, as it doesn't really elevate the energy of the track or give it much extra variation in my mind.

and given i don't listen to music for the lyrics, or relate to them, and am not typically impressed by them, but rather, I just care for the sound of it all, maybe i'm simply spoiled from other genres (electronic especially)

it's actually higher IQ, you special-ed.

See when rap first started, rappers had to say slang words, that weren't common language or else, they'd be self-snitching and admitting to crimes in songs. So they found a way around that and used slang that people from the streets would understand but your average working class citizen wouldn't. the "mumble" rap thing is just an extension of that, after having the genre evolve 1000 times since then. These rappers that "mumble" are just using their voice as-is from drug use, meaning that only real n----s from the streets understand them, not some p---- b---- with an thesaurus like Eminem fans.
