Apr 1, 2022 A lot of AI stuff made by fan communities is super funny and well done and I'm glad it exists for that reason...but I'm afraid of what's gonna happen when AI gets better and better (which is not very far off) and labels get their hands on it from a legal standpoint. ---'s label already tried to make new songs with AI but I think his estate blocked it. It's gonna be especially gross for dead artists. We're gonna get terrible posthumous AI-generated Pop Smoke albums every year for the rest of eternity. Labels are gonna trick artists into signing deals with AI stipulations that allow them basically 100% creative control in the event of their death or breach of contract.

Apr 3, 2022 To be clear, this isn't the workings of AI -- this was manually patched together by a fan. Still impressive nonetheless. And this still brings about the question (per dkc) of when AI stipulations will begin to be put into place in contracts. It's coming soon. edit: I think(?) this was vocals patched? the outro text makes it seem that way, but now i'm not 100% if it was using an AI voice generator
