Mar 14, 2018 The title is pretty self explenaitary. If you could choose between a new album(with new songs), an album with unreleased songs between 99-03(his prime) and an album with unreleased songs between 06-09(hiatus+Relapse 2), what would be your choice? Before Revival was released. I would choose a new album for sure, but now I'm not so sure now. I think Eminem doesn't have a lot of leftovers from 99-03. But the leftovers he has probably would make a classic album. I'm quite interested what Eminem's thoughts and feelings were between 06-09 and especially 05-08. I don't know if Koolo has leaked every song from this era btw. I doubt it because I believe Eminem has made a lot of songs between 2006 and 2009. Revival was a big disappointment. Another disappointment after Southpay soundtrack and ShadyXV(arguably MMLP2 too). The Chloraseptic remix has given me a bit of hope he's still able to make decent songs though I would personally choose an album with unreleased material from 05-09. I like Relapse and as I said earlier I'm quite interested in this era of his life. Imo we have enough material from prime Eminem and that era doesn't interest me anymore. My 2nd choice would be a new album. I just don't trust Eminem to make another decent album and I don't want to be disappointed again. I just wanna have an album with songs I never heard and songs I'm able to enjoy listening to.
Mar 14, 2018 Album with unreleased songs from 1999-2003; a no-brainer tbh There’s definitely so many classics locked up in the vault that we’ll never get to hear unfortunately I was always curious about this song I saw an interview about that was apparently incredible and was the best s--- this guy (a producer or whatever I can’t really remember) had ever heard but for some reason Em didn’t like how it turned out Just imagine some of the s--- he said that was never released while he was just angry as f--- at the world. Hopefully some of it sees the light of day. Most likely only when Em passes away though, they’ll basically be sitting on a goldmine
Mar 14, 2018 Found it...man, what I’d do to hear this s--- What's some of the evil stuff you've ever heard in the studio with Em that's never been released? There is one song that I wish would come out. I know he did not like it, but I think Dre or Mel-Man did it. I can not remember the name of the song, but it was hot as s---. This was in between The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show . This song is, man ... .this song is ridiculous. It's classic, classic, classic Em. Everything about that song was classic Em beyond belief. It had like a New Edition hook on it. That song was my number one Eminem song. I wish I had a copy of that s---. I have no f---ing idea why Em did not like that track, because all of us were like, "Dude, you got to put that s--- out!" Paul [Rosenberg] and Denaun [Porter] and everyone were like, "Dog ... really? "The wordplay, the rhyme schemes were all in the pocket really hard. I have not thought about that song in a long time. From an interview with Em’s old Dj, Dj Head. Ty @Cx in the Chat
Mar 14, 2018 Why are people so obsessed with unreleased material, especially from Eminem. You wanna hear more songs like Nut Up or something?
Mar 14, 2018 Because Eminem records so many tracks for all his albums but clearly has trouble picking what makes the cut, especially post-haitus He recorded like 100 tracks for MMLP2 and i bet a lot of the unreleased s--- is better than half the actual album. But instead he chose STIW to make the cut. I’m just very curious because his musical output is so minimal compared to how much he actually records lol
Mar 14, 2018 There is a reason why he chose the tracks he did, it's to have a feel of 'nostalgia' to the record, if he just chose a bunch of tracks that he made that he thought were better than the ones on the album, it would be scattered and wouldn't make sense to call it MMLP 2.
Mar 14, 2018 The album in terms of a cohesive sound is scattered all over the place anyway I’m just curious as to what else he’s recorded, especially Relapse 2, MMLP2 leftovers & his prime s---
Mar 14, 2018 i want the relapse 2 stuff because em was killing s--- back then if we re listen to psycho feat 50 cent and the westwood stuff thats the em i like the real eminem not this pop s---
Mar 15, 2018 New album. Id always choose a new album because I want new material and progression. I dont care how good 99-03 was, Ive lived those eras and have amazing material from them, I dont wanna relive em. Em needs to stop tryna relive s--- too. Reeelapse, reeecovery, a sequel / looking back, reeevival.. im back im back im back, now im back, this time for real! like... ffs progress already. Those times are gone. Be NEWWW
Mar 15, 2018 How is Survival or The Monster nostalgia? theyre Recovery era pop rock hit formula songs.... How is Stronger than I was nostalgia? He had a good concept. Of using old samples and creating subconscious nostalgia which he did with the Rubin songs, and they all sound right together. Everything else is random and as usual he didnt have the balls to follow his original vision through, instead choosing to muddle it and try and please everybody with 50 sounds again. The choices were s--- and the album makes no sense. I am sure there is a classic album from the material though. He just wasted it.
Mar 15, 2018 The answer should always be NEW SONGS, because his vault tracks can see the light of day when Em is dead.
Mar 15, 2018 So what you're saying is that the answer should always be s-----y produced new songs, that you will forget about in a week or less than 99-03 flawless songs where production and flow is on point, oh well
Mar 15, 2018 lol we will never see those tracks em probably told paul to wipe the hardrives clean and destroy them if he ever passes on
Mar 15, 2018 Meanwhile in an alternate dimension... Eminem fatally overdosed in 07 and they are now about to drop his 5th posthumous album, all 4 so far have been instant classics.
Mar 16, 2018 Remember this was a forum that got its start because Koolo leaked a bunch of unreleased songs.
