Apr 5, 2017 do we have to exactly be up to date with things? Cause there are some just general topics I want to speak about One Piece that doesn't really involve the story. For one, how Sanji chivalry s--- is annoying as h---. Dude has the coolest ability. I remember being young, thinking fighting with only your feet was cool, but his personality hinders his powers.
Apr 5, 2017 and adding Frank was the most pointless addition known to man. Maybe, just Maybe, if Oda upgraded usopp to be more of a ship builder and repairman, rather than a sniper, and his weapon could be his ability to create powerful explosives and cannons.. Smh Brook is also pointless too. Hate his guts
Apr 5, 2017 This show has my favourite moment in anime and manga. Usually in shonen anime and manga, the heroes and villains are black and white but in One Piece it is more nuanced. Fate and human nature are major themes in this journey. Some moments when you watch the anime, the lines, the way they are delivered and the music it's unparalleled in my experience. I really recommend watching the anime until the latest arcs before picking up the manga.
Apr 5, 2017 We can talk about anything but should we put spoilers? Spoiler: Spoiler? I like Sanji, his humour is my kind. I love the chivalry too especially when he is pinned against Zoro who is the opposite. I would say his personality is being tested in this latest arc. Usopp was unable to fix Going Merry, there had to be a shipwright of Franky's calibre. Post time skip, many of the characters are yet to have an all out, Usopp may surprise us when it is his arc. I agree Brook doesn't add much to the group but there may be a backstory to why he was added. Luffy wanted a musician regardless.
Apr 5, 2017 I agree the anime is slow but the first few arcs are great in pacing and by far some of the best shonen you'll read or see. It's a classic, once it gets slow you can always switch to the manga. I watched all episodes in a few days. One Piece is an investment once you get over those 50 episodes, you won't stop. Are you up to date?
Apr 5, 2017 Spoilers are good. I stopped at the part where luffy and the clown are in the prison trying to rescue ace. Literally 10 episodes before the time skip lmfao.
Apr 5, 2017 I'm almost to sub episodes if I continue. I'm pretty behind. I really want to go back to OP but sometimes I say "what's the point" my favorite arc was when Spoiler: Spoiler the crew went up in the clouds and fought enel. That s--- was crazy. Everybody was split and seemed like there was no hope.

Apr 5, 2017 I didnt rush it I just stopped I dont know wtf is wrong with me I was hoping for him to escape and save him but I had a meltdown, "man this some bs, this story not going anywhere. Nothing poppin' off. This n----- not even 1/1000 close to finding the one piece. What if that s--- dont even exist then what? f--- he gon do then?" Then I re watched yu yu hakusho and thats how that tale ends
Apr 5, 2017 I've never seen or read One Piece and have no real intention of ever doing so, but I'm glad it exists for giving rise to this literary masterpiece
