Oct 22, 2015 So I was thinking today on a revolutionary thread that we may all relate to (and has probably been made before) And it hit me I notice people just love to analyze rap lyrics Basically in this thread you go into explicit detail explaining meanings of rap lyrics.....which are complete BS I will give an example to begin From Biggie's verse on 'Brooklyn's Finest ' "If Faye had twins she'd probably have two Pacs" Now the obvious...rumors that Tupac had banged Biggie's wife Faith Evans and thus if she had twin babies they would be Tupac's (and each would resemble Pac) But look deeper, theres more to this s--- Twins....you know who else are twins? The Olsen Sisters from Full House Full House House A show about a Doctor who is addicted to pills Pills...resembles the word and rhymes with 'Hills' notice the two pacs included in the latter half of the line...two...two hills Two hills what could this mean? Remember the line is initially about Faith Evans....and so this entire lyric is actually a clever sixtuple entendre referring to her breasts Biggie is a lyrical genius I'm just sayin
Oct 22, 2015 can't wait to see your contributions homie This is more than just a thread we are building a brand
Oct 22, 2015 I got Meek lyrics on lock bruh Just to give you a taste: "You really sweet, i call you buttercup" Sweet, is the first word on the hook of "Sweet Home Alabama" Buttercup was a Powerpuff girl and it's also the name of a really cute yellow flower. If you go back to the lyrics it could read as "You really Sweet Home Alabama, i should call you a yellow flower." > Pay close attention to the similar sound of Alabama and Yellow flower (especially with that slang Meek can put on) > This sentence seems to make no actual sense, which is EXACTLY what he wants Drake to think. > It means he thinks Drake is so "Sweet Home Alabama" > which means, fake and not a real Canadian .... that he he calls him a yellow flower > this ofcourse plays into the theme of Drake being too cute to be dangerous and at the same time opposed to Canada's traditional Maple leaf. There's multiple rhymeschemes and alliterations in here that only make sense when Meek shouts them tbh, it's really complicated to explain to beginners
