this is genuinely one of the worst albums I've ever heard. it sounds like it was made in 2011 in the worst way possible. it's music for people who don't like music.

I’ll return to this in the future when I finally have time to dive in.
It’s some summer music I mean the intro kind of gives off feeling Whitney vibes. I don’t feel like this is what I expected but at the same time it is because it sounds like a certain sound on Hollywoods bleeding that either hit or miss and with Austin it is a rollercoaster.
This is lowest tier post so far. It’s an attempt that was portly executed. Is there some songs that are returnable kind of but not like 12 carrot tooth ache or anything prior. I’d grab. Maybe 3 - 4 songs and be fine with that.

one new thing is Post Malone signed to Disney it’s like he’s not allowed to say anything real anymore. These verses go nowhere’s over and over again. Some overly decent hooks as Post does but what are they without any substance. Bobby Hill said aka DKC of course said it best 2010 - 2011 vibes . Now for me in my personal opinion there is a light I won’t even say the good songs. One is (mourning) because honestly they are just some good post vibes but this thing has too cool to die on it and chemical so what more do I say. Post is an artist I genuinely enjoy I feel his time with Louis Bell has to come to an end. Post needs to go back to hip hop like A$AP after this like don’t waste any time. This is not it. Unless you are listening with binky from Arthur’s ears. The sound is overdone. Speedometer is horrendous! Hold my breath is very boring as well. Sounds like something Jaden Smith would do from that CTV 3 project like from the worse of that project which has a few stand out cuts tbh but off track. Texas Tea is the best thing you will hear from this album hands down. I was joking about saying what were the good songs which I had to laugh it off which is not terrible but it’s not by any means a good Post Closer leaves you with nothing to desire for anything new that’s for sure. Anyways. There is something where post has been doing since 12 carot but he did a lot more here with like a post gospel choir sound . (Yeah) it’s not anything good. It can go. Where Post should go next is try for something not trying to find every radio near by. If he does care about he’s rap fans but either way yeah Austin is the worse Post project so far.

I haven’t checked out this album yet partially because of Utopia and partially because I’m just hesitant to. I haven’t liked a Post Malone album since Hollywood’s Bleeding. There’s a few songs I liked from Twelve Carat Toothache, but overall I thought that album was awful. I wasn’t super crazy about “Chemical” and “Mourning” at first but “Chemical” kinda grew on me so I’ll still check AUSTIN out eventually.

Post Malone on Texas Tea best record on this thing/ album I guess they call it. - These record labels trying to clone me mothersf ers trying to clone got me out here sounding like karaoke.
Yup this sure does sounds like Post attempts Post Malone karaoke with a acoustic guitar involved as much as physically possible this time.

I don’t think this album is very good. It’s better than his last album, I’ll give him that. That’s mostly because his last album was straight up horrendous for the most part but this album is pretty close to that. There were several times on this album where I didn’t realize the song changed until I looked at the song title. With that in mind, AUSTIN definitely didn’t need to be 17 tracks long. For a self-titled project, it sure lacks personality. I don’t think it’s the worst thing ever though. There’s some nice moments here.

I’ll say many things about this album but I’ll give Post Malone this not a single feature on the album. Now that didn’t work but it’s courageous in a era carried by feats. I didn’t know 12 carot toothache was hated on. I actually enjoyed 12 carot toothache a bit more than Hollywoods bleeding besides a few songs.
