Cakes vs Cupcakes

    Cupcakes. I'm better at baking cupcakes and you have more options for decorating.
    A cake has to be pretty consistent in it's decoration. But with cupcakes you can have a different colour icing on each, you can pipe a variety of decorations on cupcakes (you cant really have half a congrats on the baby / half wedding cake) you can make a batch of cupcakes and fill them all with different things.

    A bit, not as much these days but when I'm with my bf I like to do my fair share to make sure he comes home from work to some fresh cookies & cupcakes.
