It's whatever. This whole thing has been bugging me all day thinking about it. Glad I could vent.

I got nothing against Hopsin personally.

I mean, Hopsin is right when he says that r34l h3 hawp doesn't sell, but that's only because nobody gives a s--- anymore. And the people that do are the minority, of course I love technical lyrics and good songs, but if you sound the same each album, I'm not gonna bother investing myself in you as an artist.

Maybe it's his own fault for creating that perception of reality because he's mentally handicapped. I can see where he's coming from, but you shouldn't have to f---ing say it in your music, you know? It just makes people cringe and not take you seriously. If you are gonna talk about how unfair the world is, do it more subtly.

Not make a 4-7 minute song about it.

Earl Sweatshirt is a good example of how to keep things abstract and subtle. It's easier for me to get invested.

Like, some rappers do it better, like Eminem like I said in the chat thread, but only because it's relatable and he writes so well. I can't relate to Hopsin at all, even though I should be able to, but I can't relate to some dude that grew up in L.A. and got dropped from a major label when he was 19-21.

I know how it feels to be singled out for being autistic, but he did it all wrong.

Still, I can't be mad at him, I mean, maybe this whole thing is just his twisted vision come to life, who knows...

It's all up in the air, not everyone can get s--- right. Ill Mind 5 was okay, but I understand why people hate Hopsin, because sometimes he does the same thing on steroids on songs that don't need that.
