sounds like you've listened to four songs or aren't paying attention. he's dropped two full-length tapes this year that not only are pretty dynamic throughout, but are almost entirely opposite in terms of tone and construction.

Those songs have a lot more in common than 90210, piss on your grave and antidote, and those three are from the same album.

Rich g--- lifestyle is my favorite mixtape ever and young thug is probably my favorite interview personality after Kanye, but his sound is really clear and I don't think it will change.

What I mean is you can make a young thug type of beat, or you can bite young thugs flow.

You can't do that with Kanye or Travis Scott.
    Well, it's harder.

    -730
    -freestyle

    all sound NOTHING alike

    Barter 6:

    -halftime
    -just might be
    -check

    sound NOTHING alike

    Slime Season:
    -Calling Your Name
    -That's All
    -Wanna Be Me

    NOTHING alike....

    im SUPER confused right now.

    lol.

Are you implying that I'm lying to prove my point? Rich g--- lifestyle or rich g--- tour, that mixtape with birdman and rich homie quan with young thug's face in grey on a red and black cover.
That one with givenchy, hate I, flava, who's on top and soldier .

i'm saying that not knowing the name of the record you're referencing probably speaks to my point about you not spending much time with his work

I'm not gonna give you examples the whole time, but I think travis has a more changing sound than young thug, and I think there are lot of people who agree with me.

Everything will stay the same, old ones will never be forgotten (if they were good of course), & the rapper of this era will eventually fade away become too old and retire.

travis is a biter who, as narsh pointed out, padded his albums with throwaways from more talented artists. that's the kind of versatility you value?

this is no way to defend your point lol. you kind of HAVE to give examples "the whole time" to be taken seriously man.

not to mention i took the time to give u about 12 examples already....so its kind of rude to me not to put the same thought into your argument.

I certainly not gonna deny he bites and his bars are basic, that young thug is a waaay better rapper, but Travis is an awesome producer with versatility and every song of him is different and interesting.

Obviously it's easy to say this now with no precognition of how things will change but I think hip-hop has pretty much reached it's course creatively.
I don't think much more can be done to progress it, I can't see any more styles or sub-genres coming about.
I think electronic music is gonna run s--- creatively within a few years.
