Nov 30, 2015 - Change album title - Scrap/bonus disc So Much Better, Stronger Than I Was, So Far, Survival, Monster - Better beat, better hook on a------ - Better hook on Legacy - Include Ground Hog Day, Baby, Beautiful Pain, Wicked Ways, Don't Front
Nov 30, 2015 - I'd Keep any tracks that have an MMLP feel theme-wise (Bad Guy, Brainless, Rhyme or Reason, etc) - I'd get rid of any poppy tracks that feel like Recovery leftovers (Monster, a------, Survival, etc.) and get Em to make more MMLP-esque songs as replacements - I'd get rid of any Dj Khalil, Alex Da Kid, Eminem, Emile beats and get Dr. Dre, Bass Brothers, The 45 King, RZA, Hit Boy to replace them on production. - I'd keep the final tracklist down to about 12-13 tracks.
Nov 30, 2015 I'm just sayin hearing these voices would've been nostalgic, which is what this album was supposed to be but wasn't.
Nov 30, 2015 I can say that the contribution of Rick Rubin actually didn't help capturing the MMLP sound but MMLP 2 is 4th classic to me :D
Nov 30, 2015 That is a incredible thought. If I was the producer, I'd be quite wealthy and that puts a smile on my insides.
Dec 1, 2015 1- I will kick Royce da 5'9 from Eminem life,, sure he wasn't involved with this album, but made Eminem more technical. 2- Replace like 65% of the album beats and hooks. 3- Put Symphony In H in the extra CD. 4- Tell Eminem to slow down to understand him without Rap Genius. 5- Tell Eminem to use the Slim Shady high pitched voice more often. 6- Use only the last 3 minutes of Rap God 7- Feature with Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Dr.Dre, and unreleased hook of Nate Dogg. 8- Release Stronger Than I was, and Beautiful Pain as singles with music videos. (I don't give a horse s--- about the hate on both of these songs). 9- Changed the beat of Berzerk with the same catchy hook to produce something like the Real Slim Shady, and dissing Justin Beiber, Drake, Kanye, Lil Wayne, and Miley Cyrus. (Not necessarily because I hate them, but because it will make a big mess).
Dec 1, 2015 First scrap MMLP2 as a title. Change the title to BERZERK. Open with a public service announcement, then BadGuy, Parking Lot, and Rhyme Or Reason. Keep Berzerk, Rap God, and Beautiful Pain (and Legacy because I love it srry). Trash everything else. Work almost exclusively with Dre and the Bass Brothers. Update Em's sound. No Call of Duty sell your soul promotion. Absolutely no RiRi hooks. Features: The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, Dre, Asap Rocky, Chance The Rapper, Sticky Fingaz & RBX, Unreleased Proof verse, unreleased Nate Dogg hook, Killer Mike, Xzibit, Snoop, and Adele. Prod: Dre, Bass Brothers, Kanye, Mel Man
Dec 1, 2015 Straight up would've told him to scrap the concept of MMLP2 and start over. Produce s--- that resembles TBA hard. dgaf what anybody says
Dec 1, 2015 I just would have liked it to have featured things that were on MMLP. PSA, the skits, b---- Please III, another closing track with "a lot of people ask me...", etc.
Dec 1, 2015 I've always wanted to do this, if you can find any acapellas for the album let me know, as I'd love to take a shot at this too, maybe we can collaborate in it
Dec 2, 2015 MMLP2 should've only had 2 females on hooks. Dido on Bad Guy and any generic female but must've specifically been on track 13.
Dec 2, 2015 Changing bits and pieces on songs is fine, but what I would've done is sit the guy down and ask him exactly why he's doing the album and what he feels he'll accomplish doing it. If you're doing a sequel, there should be rules established to ensure you are making something that extends the theme of the original. You hear it in places, but it's not a coherent throughline. Also, for the love of god, pick one or two producers and work in-house. Sick of beats and hooks that were obviously emailed in. It's easy to stick some verses between a pre-made chorus, but also much more likely to sound generic. Em sounds better on his own beats more often than not, and I can only assume it's because he was more intimiately involved with putting it together. Then get Dre to mix it.
