Feb 25, 2016 No, I don't remember that video. I wasn't making an insinuation about Trump or his supporters. I thought I was pretty clear but let me reiterate: those are the kind of people his message attracts. It's clear his message has some portion of it that KKK members support. That's all.
Feb 25, 2016 But you can. I mean, you can create a message that caters to certain groups. If my message were that all alternative energy industries be shut down on the first day of my presidency. I guarantee I would have the fossil fuel industry behind me. But I digress. EDIT: But I guess that would be "indirectly" controlling who supports you. So I see your point. But I hope you see mine.
Feb 25, 2016 Im saying directly.. obvs your message panders to certain people.. but I know multiple people that like trump or sanders just for the sole fact that they are outsiders. The only message they care about is that outsider message. And the media perpetuates this notion that all Trump supporters are not educated and racist... and Im not a trump supporter for the primary, But in the GE i would be supporting him and people may support a candidate based on the fact that they hate what the other party stands for and may not even agree with the Candidate they support just giving examples
Feb 25, 2016 You didn't see my edit. But I'm not sure it's the media perpetuating it. I mean, It's a fact that Trump does amazing with the "under-educated" population. If "racist" were something you could identify with in a primary, I have a strong feeling he would lead there as well. After all, something like 20% of his supporters that were asked think Lincoln freeing the slaves was a bad idea. Lol. These are just facts. If media presenting facts is perpetuating it then sure.
Feb 25, 2016 ok i see your edit and of course i see your point. There are dumb voters on both sides of the isle.. people that support Bernie dont know what a socialist is and stuff like that.. thanks for having a civil debate lol hard to find that sometimes
Feb 25, 2016 Yeah of course man. I don't have time to get into flame wars on the internet lol. Every candidate in history has had uninformed supporters. I think it would be a fair point to make that people who oppose Sanders (or, insert candidate here) due to the "socialist" mantra (other reasons) couldn't even tell you what socialism (that reason) is. Sanders will not transfer the means of production to the government. Also, Socialism != Communism, I've seen this first hand probably a hundred times. It's sad, really.
Feb 25, 2016 really doesn't seem like the best place for getting a decent conversation about this stuff. anyways, Trump looking more and more unstoppable. polling way ahead of Rubio in Florida which is a winner take all state. If he is still crushing when March 15th comes around, the party is going to have to figure out what they are going to do about him. Luckily Hillary is about done locking things up for Dems so she can start going after him and stop worrying about Bernie by mid March or so
Feb 25, 2016 I miss @ImmortalTechnique Trump got destroyed in this debate not that it'll make much of a difference. At least I don't think it will.
Feb 26, 2016 As a Democrat, I love Donald Trump. He's dismantling and sabotaging the Republican Party at a faster rate than either Bernie or Hillary. (Btw, I've been an Independent my whole life. I only recently switched to Democrat once Republicans became the bat-s----crazy party. I would love to go back to hating both parties equally again)
Feb 26, 2016 You have been wrong wayyy too many times in the 2016 Democratic Thread for me to take this seriously.
Feb 26, 2016 Last night was great. It began normally enough. Questions asked, questions answered. Then Rubio tried a sneak attack on the Trump. Cruz saw a chance to slither in and dropped his cheese, sniffing towards the exchange between Trump and Rubio, who was sweating profusely as he tried wailing into Trump, but only succeeded in getting a mouthful of Trumps tailored pants, and some knee. With one hand pushing back on Rubios forehead and using the other to swat a rolled up newspaper at Cruz scurrying around his feet, Trump finally lost his temper, noticeable because his pupils began glowing white as his feet began to levitate. Space around him seemed to warp towards him in ripples, and as the lights flickered to stay on, small pockets of rain began falling inside the studio itself through the increasing wind, and finally Trump was floating upright above his podium. With his arms outstretched, bright light began to emanate from his chest and streams of golden fire formed a webbed sphere around him that collapsed inward a second before exploding outward again in a bluish disk, ripping through space and blowing everyone on the stage over, toppling the set behind him and sending a wave of dust in all directions. CNN temporarily lost their signal while the production crew tried to re-boot their equipment. When the debate finally resumed, Rubio was on his back flailing his arms and legs and bawling, while Cruz was seen trying to chew an exit through the wall behind them. As for what happened to Trump, we do not know. But there was a hole in the roof, and overhead a shooting star crossed the Texan sky. And somehow everyone knew what they felt without knowing why they felt it. That somehow, America was becoming great again. At least that's how I remember it.
Feb 27, 2016 His personality is terrible. He's a smart guy but comes off as an a------ nobody besides people who put intelligence over presentation would appreciate, which our country lacks of
Feb 27, 2016 Important, and not quite as surprising as the media (the British media at least) are making it out to be.
Feb 28, 2016 http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/donald-trump-is-really-unpopular-with-general-election-voters/ Worth a read.
