I don't think i've seen a more blatant tanking then what the Lakers are doing right now. I hope they get hosed and drop from 2 to 5 like the Celtics did in 07 and lose the pick. The NBA would never let that happen though.

Lakers were getting destroyed by about 30 at the half when they made the lineup change lol, so wouldn't really say that's a good example of tanking..the game was already wrapped up.

Benching Mozgov and Deng for the season isn't exactly a big tank move either, both are mediocre and not young players who they want to give playing time to.

Their problem as a team is they just don't play any defense, offensively they're inconsistent but even if they're hitting their shots it doesn't really matter if they can't stop anyone..Plenty of young talent on the team, but they won't get anywhere if they can't improve on D..I think they'll make a trade this offseason getting rid of a couple young guys to try to get an established star or leader in here.

Wish NBA would change something so tanking isn't such an issue every year, honestly seems like half the teams nowadays are either tanking or resting players for the playoffs.

Then there's really only a few teams fighting for a playoff spot, seems like 90% of the games now late in the season are basically irrelevant unless you're watching for tanking purposes.

Yeah It is pretty nuts, but Michael missed a ton of games one year with a broken foot and also played in way less game 6's & 7's lol.
