Jul 21, 2017 So I'm on RG and I see 2 threads talking about Kendrick having bars and Kendrick not having bars. One side says that Kendrick doesn't focus on punchlines and instead the focus is on his production, voice and flow while the other side basically says that of course Kendrick has bars, it doesn't matter if he has punchlines or not, long as he's a lyricist he got bars. Thoughts on this? Does Kendrick have tons of quotables like Wayne, Hova, DOOM and Jay Elec or is the main appeal his music and not his actual lyricism?
