Dec 8, 2017 So im hearing that rapping over a rock beat as a white racist police man, then switching to a hip-hop beat and giving the black mans side of the situation, all whilst rhyming great and flowing well without screaming or accents, no double time flow, not rapping too fast to understand or rapping about his mother, no self-loathing, no pop beat or popstar feature and tackling a real-life issue whilst making valid points and standing up for something he feels strongly about makes for bad music? The opinions on here from some of you are embarrassing. I understand it may not be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s fine, but talking like he should quit or it’s literally the worst thing you’ve heard is quite obviously because you’re stanning on another level and are beyond upset that he hasn’t recreated something he’s already done. Pathetic.
Dec 8, 2017 I don't understand why they still bother to listen to new Eminem if they say it's complete trash and everything that Eminem puts out nowadays is garbage
Dec 8, 2017 dude, thank you so much for this clever, witty post. It's obvious that Em tries to deliver different music : we may not like WOW and Untouchable, we can't have the "old Eminem" again and again. I think the MMLP2 was a great work because it came so close to the old Eminem, with songs like a------ or Evil Twin, he really brought Shady back... But these days are long gone and that is exactly what he explains to the Stans out here in the last verse of Bad Guy (that part of the song itself is a real masterpiece from a lyrical and musical point of view... looks like a d--- opera finish). Now I'm not saying I love these new sounds, but I will probably appreciate them for the novelties they bring.. And to the people who say, behind their computer keyboards, that Em is done, that he can't rap, or that he has no flow anymore... I think it's really funny because when I listen to Joe Cole, or these lame rappers that we call competition, I feel embarassed for them. It's all mumble rap and sometimes no flow at all. Last night I even heard a song which had no beat. Everybody booed because Walk On Water is a ballad without a beat, but you seem to have way more tolerance (or compassion?) towards rappers that will never be Eminem. There are lots of hypocrits and delusionnal persons here, so I'm really thankful for your post wfla90. You can call me a Stan or a Marshalls-c----rider, I don't care. I've been listening to Eminem for more than 18 years now soooo you can s--- my d-ck if you don't like...
Dec 8, 2017 The second half of Untouchable... *rubs nips until they chafe*. Best verse and flow from Eminem in a LONG time. FACT!
Dec 8, 2017 For real, 80% of the people hating it are top tier Stanleys that are so mad and upset that he didn't make a song that emulates himself from 2000.
Dec 8, 2017 I have hated eminems music for a long time. I can't believe he didn't ruin the song with a penis a joke or a terrible metaphor. He actually rapped with substance in a normal voice and flow for once.
Dec 8, 2017 Yea the song is great. You have to be aware majority of members here are teenagers. You summed up everything in your post, the song is dynamic and fresh. The lyrics are on point. I really dont understand the hate.
Dec 8, 2017 People nowadays rather have Gucci g--- stuff. It's not about content or lyrics, but about a catchy hook and enjoyable beat. When I look at the Dutch top 50 on Spotify it just pisses me off what hip-hop(fans) have become. Good post. Nowadays people think they can say everything behind a screen. Not realizing what it does to people
Dec 8, 2017 d---, I do want to believe you. Which J-Cole albums or songs would you recommand ? Guess I did not listen that much (I'm rather on oldies from 85 to 00's)
Dec 8, 2017 I (and clearly a few others) do. Is it cringe because I’m being honest and saying what I think? I like the guys music and a forum is for discussion. Are you too cool for this forum?
Dec 8, 2017 So... you care that others don't like it? A lot of people do and in the end who gives a s--- as long as you can enjoy it. It's cringe that there are so many threads (both by people hating and stans) who try to convince the other side while that will never happen.
