Dec 14, 2017 This will save Em's career. I think Royce should be there too, but he should be helping Em only with his bars whenever they get corny. Budden should be a huge presence.
Dec 14, 2017 I was unsure on the first spin, but i've been bumping it since last night and I already love it, even songs I thought were complete trash at first. Believe should have been the intro over WoW IMO.
Dec 14, 2017 So happy with this album. Doesn't even mean I think its great, it's just we got arguably some of the best songs hes done in the last 10 years. 2-3 fantastic songs and probably 5-6 good songs is miles more than I was ever expecting from Em at this point. Compare that to MMLP2 which had 0 songs that I ever go back and listen to and this album is light-years ahead. It feels kinda like a better Relapse for me, Relapse had its gems but like Revival a lot of bad/mediocre songs, but way more. Plus i'd much rather listen to the filler in this album than Relapse. To early to tell how I feel about this compared to Recovery, probably higher highs but less consistent. Go in to this album with dialed down expectations (which we should all have for Eminem at this point) and there is a h--- of a lot to take away from this.
Dec 14, 2017 if you're going through an album skipping songs you kinda have no place in calling it trash since you never actually listened to the album lol there's proof in this album that he's still able to craft an amazing experience that can still appeal to a wide variety of people, he just falls short in some areas due to some really weird s--- that pops up in the album that can completely take away from the experience. offended would have been a b-----r if it wasn't for the hook, d---. i still like the song for the verses alone, i'm just disappointed. despite of the fact that i like this album, he NEEDS to go back to his roots, which is literally all he cares about: hip hop all his true friends in the industry need to pull him into an intervention and knock him back into place
