Your point is based on a misreading of my post, that I was trying to argue Hillary was ‘just as bad or worse.’ For me to put forth such an argument I'd first have to concede that Trump is doing a s-----y job. Obviously I disagree. How obtuse can you get?

Then specifically what didn’t convince you? It’s hard to argue Clinton’s poll numbers dropping across the board simultaneously with the breaking of the comey letter. Like... all the data is in there. You may not like it because your dislike for Clinton is well documented & you can’t stomach the idea of her having lost at least partially due to outside forces but it is what it is.

Funny how you used to say the ‘Comey letter’ was just a contributing factor when you were so convinced of Russian meddling. Now that that's been boiled down to a few hundred thousand dollars in Facebook ads and some Russian trolls you need a new scapegoat. No, the reopening of the email probe was just a drop in the bucket compared to other, real factors which fall squarely on Hillary Clinton herself. Most people had already made up their minds by then, and they had more than enough time to do so. She ran a bad campaign, she had bad ideas, she was a warmonger, she was corrupt. These are the reasons she lost. You may not like it because your dislike for Trump is well documented and you can't stomach the idea of a having a president who doesn't use wedge issues to pander for minority votes, but it is what it is.

Do you understand how probability works? Just because something has a 75% chance of happening, doesn’t mean it’s absolutely certain that it’s going to happen. Unlikely events happen every day. Upsets happen all the time. 538 spent a lot of time in the final weeks of the election going at outlets for over stating Clinton’s position & perpetuating her “likely win” as “she has this in the bag.” They even published an article days before the election about how Trump was within striking distance of winning.

How is that any different from what I’m saying now? That’s exactly what I’m arguing: how the comey letter contributed to clinton’s loss. People had not already made their minds up, that’s entirely false. This election had a very large amount of undecided voters until the very end. Many of these voters made their minds up within the final week/days of the election cycle.

As for Russian meddling, i’ve stated that it’s really not possible at this moment to measure the impact that may have had. We may not ever know the total impact it had because the effort was so widespread. Perhaps if more details are released about specific locations in which the Russians concentrated their efforts in (it’s already been confirmed the Russians targeted swing states the most with ads/organizing rally’s/disinformation etc.) then maybe some statistician can crunch some numbers & find correlations between the voting population & their opinion on Clinton but as for right now, we can’t. At same time, it’d be foolish to brush it off like it didn’t have an impact. For most of October, everyone was talking about Podesta’s emails. It was one of the biggest news stories of the entire election. Again, not something you or @Sign Language who’s dodging me wants to hear but it’s true.
