Nov 12, 2018 Clearly 2007 the same as my careful what ou wish for and beautiful. If you want to hear what pre-relapse sober Eminem sounded like listen to that Detroit basketball tune
Nov 12, 2018 Not a single song on kamaikaze is as good as be careful what you wish for, my darling, de ja vu or even my mom. Album is trash you stans are overhyping the f--- outta it. Scorpion tracks by drake are still charting higher and it’s an older album and 6ix9ine has higher charted songs. Anyways, these bonus tracks would have been on relapse 2. It seemed he was laying off the accent too with be careful what you wish for and my darling, cocaine. I honestly think if Eminem just went with relapse 2, we would have gotten way better material and he wouldn’t have ruined his legacy as a top 10 rapper. Recovery was basically him saying f--- it and selling out. And revival ruined any credibility he had left as a top rapper. Eminem will be remembered from the sslp-to the encore era but 5 years from now no ones going to talk about all the garbage he released the last 14 years.
Dec 15, 2018 'Beautiful' is one of the last songs that was included on 'Relapse' and is one of the more touching songs on the album. It was recorded when Eminem believed he had "reached rock bottom" and lost hope for his future. Eminem felt it was important to include 'Beautiful' on the album as a reminder to himself as well as "anybody who is in a dark place [...] that you can get out of it". Movies series world The single was released on August 11, 2009 and it samples 'Reaching Out', which was originally written by the rock band Rock Therapy. This version of 'Reaching Out' is taken from the Queen & Paul Rodgers 2005 - 2006 tour, which used Eminem’s 'Lose Yourself' as the house music. While the majority of 'Relapse' is an attempt to be someone he no longer is, 'Beautiful' is more of him actually being himself, the person he is now. He no longer is the person who composed the 'Slim Shady LP' and the 'Marshall Mathers LP'. However, his nostalgia and insecurities had caused him to rigorously try to regain that old style, though it just isn't his personality anymore. Most of the songs on 'Relapse' do not feel genuine but rather more spontaneous. 'Beautiful' is an obvious exception. It is on 'Beautiful' that Eminem is the most genuine and true to who he is now. The song is a creative outlet for his depression, and deals with identity crisis and not being able to find himself, being lost. He describes events in his childhood where he searched for an identity, not trusting himself and emulating others, molding his identity based on what would please them. The theme of the song is Eminem's realization that one should be 'true to thyself' i.e. not basing his or her self-image on the expectations of their stereotypes and the people around them. The song has received very high acclaim and much positive reception and was considered to be the best song on 'Relapse' by many. Rolling Stone called it a "touching attempt at an inspirational ballad". Pitchfork Media said that "Relapse hits something of a stride with 'Beautiful'".Much speculation has followed as to who sang the chorus of the song, suggesting it was Paul Rodgers. 'Beautiful' scored Eminem his ninth straight Top 40 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard called the song "epic" and described it as "Part confessional ("I'm just so f---ing depressed,") and part 'Lose Yourself'-style motivational anthem, 'Beautiful' encapsulates the introspective nature of 'Relapse' but deviates from the shock tactics that dominate the album" adding that "The song is as much a lighters-in-the-air, arena rock power ballad as it is a lyrical showcase".
May 15, 2019 According to wiki it was released on may 15. Was there some late changes of the releasedate during that time?
May 15, 2019 Without question. Eminem has struggled to even come close to this level of quality since and this was the last glimpse we had of the old guy
May 15, 2019 This was the last true Eminem album we’ll ever get. At least he flowed properly on the beats and had some good skills with rapping on the album. The production was as good as any Eminem album and great beats for that type of album. But then people bitched about the accent and Eminem went downhill ever since yelling over rock/pop beats then mumbles like on no favors randomly. Rihanna saved his career for the recovery album. But now he’s on his own and the numbers and critical reception shows no one except stans can stand listening to his garbage music anymore. Eminem was on the right path with relapse 2. Take the coccaine, elevator, my darling, careful what you wish for verses for example. Laid off the accent and still delivered on beat and sounded like the real Eminem. Just never seen a rapper fall off this bad in life. It’s entertaining to watch how bad his projects keep getting. He already destroyed his legacy to where going back and finishing the real relapse 2 album would be the only way he could semi redeem himself. I think he lost the skill and voice to deliver on those beats though.
May 15, 2019 I tried listening to it. It’s garbage. It’s on the same level as revival to me. s-----y Disney rock type beats, sounds like a call of duty anthem soundtrack. Eminem crying over everyone hating on revival, yet his old a--- still thinks the album was a classic that took 5 years to make. His career is over. He can’t make another good solo album.
May 15, 2019 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relapse_(Eminem_album)#Release_history The official and main release was in the USA on May 19th. All promotional materials were on May 19th. in other countries the album was released on other days. I was one of those who pre-ordered this album on Amazon back in the fall of 2008. the album was originally due out at the end of 2008. I consider this album the most atmospheric, one of the best and 100% classic.
