    but fr as far as actually slept on goes Concept Collective Vol. 2 is a quality tape that ive seen get little to no attention
    theyre a rap group from dmv i think

    In terms of recent memory, I thought last year the album Trust Fall from epicmustdie was really incredible. I personally didn’t care too much for the features though. I also thought the first half of the album was much better than the 2nd half half.

    now this is a good thread

    I still havent been able to get into Shy Glizzy, i need to give him another try.

    Anyways, some recent underrated/overlooked that come to mind:

    Lucki - Freewave 3
    Fredo b--- - Big Ape
    Mir Fonatine - Who's Watching The Kids 2
    Stunna 4 Vegas - BIG 4X

    Also, Future's the WIZRD - it wasn't exactly overlooked but definitely underrated imo. I think it still might be my favorite project of the year so far.

    Jefe, I already liked his s--- from the get go. Probably don't like him because of the voice and s---, but honestly makes him stand out. It's very distinctive. Fully Loaded has to be his best project. Didn't really like Covered N Blood, but it grew on me over time.

    First 3 are pretty good projects, especially the Lucki one, but I can never get into that Stunna 4 Vegas album. DaBaby mostly carries his s---.

    This. Just listined to this a few days ago and i thought this s--- was a lot better than i thought after the first run

    Edit: I think almost every album from Ill Bill, Vinnie Paz, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique etc. is slept on. I dont see people talking about them and their music

    Absolutely incredible Mixtape.
    People mention 1999, Days Before Rodeo, Water, Barter 6, Young Sinatra mixtapes, Beast Mode, Monster, 56 Nights etc. while talking about best mixtapes of this decade, but barely I see this one.

    This tape is incredible.

    I'm gonna try starting from Jefe again, feel like I'm missing out. Yeah Stunna doesn't have anything on DaBaby but his tape was still very enjoyable imo, the production on there was insane

    Hes last album "Fleurever" was dope af, he is definitely still delivering. Jazz Cartier is criminally slept on. "Dead or Alive" a f---ing classic.
