    That whole era was an amazing run. I'm gone all the invasions and beef, obie and fifty features...and boo ya tribe an em verse with an amazing delivery that still never gets the love it deserves.

    It’s true. Proof out shined him on this. h--- bizarre had some crazy verses. Y’all are overhyping this project. Em had like 3 good verses.

    The majority of Obie Trice's album was completed before 50 was signed (Which then pushed the release of Cheers back) so this verse may well have been done in 2002 or TES Era. And if it wasn't, then it was part of the Patiently Waiting/Don't Push Me/Lady batch, so I don't understand OP's question.

    Yeah, this might be Em’s peak as a rapper. Most of the rappers in D12 aren’t good but they have enough chemistry that it works here.

    I have a strange soft spot for D12 World, but there's no denying this was the vastly superior project. The Limp Bizkit diss in the end still gets a laugh out of me.

    Don't know what else I can that hasn't already been said about Em's jaw-dropping performance on here. Not that I don't mind D12, but it's substantially clear Em was the main course in this album, really could have been his best solo. Think this was a great midway point of Eminem's angsty/cartoonish style from SSLP/MMLP with the more reflective tone we'd see on TES, the transition was already happening.

    Spot on take. Em needs to link back up with the Bass Brothers. Their influence was all over this record. They were instrumental in harnessing his ability to rhyme a bunch of words and turning that talent into impactful and memorable music. I’d be really interested to hear what they could create today but I doubt it’ll ever happen.
